Julianna (she’s 10): Daddy, what were you and Mommy doing in the pool?

Me: What did you see? And, who did you tell?

J: What? You were in the Hello Kitty float and Mommy was in the recliner. You were just holding hands.

Me: We were floating. Together.

J: But, you weren’t even talking.
